Watties Changing Room, Hastings

Working in partnership with our supplier, Premier delivered a standout transformation of the staff changing room facilities at Kraft Heinz, Hastings.

From the outset, the brief was clear; this space needed to reflect the strength of the global Kraft Heinz brand, and standard solutions simply wouldn’t suffice. Guided by their international brand standards, we designed and manufactured a fully customised locker and seating solution that elevated both functionality and visual impact.

The project featured bespoke RAL powder-coated two-door lockers, complete with adjustable internal shelving, hanging options for uniforms and boots, and sloping tops for a clean, practical finish. Complementing the lockers were custom stands, island benches, and a purpose-built ADA-compliant bench seat, combining a durable powder-coated steel frame with a warm butcher’s block timber surface.

Accessibility was a key consideration throughout. premier worked closely with the client to adapt our designs to meet New Zealand ADA guidelines for both lockers and seating, ensuring inclusivity without compromising on design.
Each locker was fitted with a high IP-rated digital keypad lock, providing secure, user-friendly access suited to a high-traffic environment. To bring the space to life, every locker door featured custom branded perforations, while locker banks were finished with end mirrors and vibrant branded panels, delivering a cohesive, high-impact aesthetic.

Despite the complexity of the brief, including multiple design iterations and global stakeholder approvals, Premier successfully navigated every challenge, from achieving precise brand colour matching to ensuring all components were fit for purpose.
The result is a bold, functional and brand-aligned environment that sets a new benchmark for staff facilities, proof of what can be achieved through true collaboration, thoughtful design, and attention to detail.
